First item “checked” off the list!

This week a couple of items have been ticked off the list! First…..this is OFFICIALLY! My wonderful sister bought and routed the new url so that moving forward all is aligned. Thank you Sissy!!!!

Yesterday I had an appointment with Dr. Sims, my cardiologist. I have never had a cardiologist before and I’m hoping all subsequent visits will only be social. Yes, he was a cutie…I am appreciating from afar! In preparation for pre-op I will be undergoing a stress test as well as an echo with ultrasound in the next few week. I also will be having a sleep evaluation done on July 26th, though I am certain I do not have sleep apnea. All these things must be confirmed before a surgery date is scheduled.

This being said, I am developing an appreciation for those with great patience. Though many of you may disagree with this statement, I can be a wee bit of a control freak. Things are not necessarily moving in the time frame I would prefer. I am looking for the good in each delay and knowing this is happening just the way it should….or at least that is what I keep telling myself.

Classes begin again next week so I am off to catch up my studies.

  1. You have made a life changing decision time now to trust the Universe that you are exactly where you need to be at all times. Relax & breathe.

  2. This is a marathon and not a sprint. I tell myself , and I will share with you, the building blocks are in place to build your new life. Enjoy the journey .

  3. I LOVE YOU!!!! Despite the fact that II do not fit the profile for sleep apnea, I was diagnosed with it a couple years ago and have used the CPAP machine ever since. I never knew what a good night’s sleep meant until the CPAP! I am so proud of you taking these steps to health, and I am here for you!!!

  4. I have to say, your sister is awesome. Sharing your blog with people takes courage, I’m sure having to repeat the story of why it was missing a letter would have gotten tedious, and would have detracted something from that special moment. Go sis!

  5. I’m so excited for you! And for me too! Our surgery dates will likely be pretty close, so we can offer each other support as we change our lives for the better. πŸ™‚
